I'm curious Joel. What is recycling like in Germany? Here where I live in suburbia Atlanta it is terrible. There are NO recycle recepticles anywhere in the county except at the county landfill. If someone wants to recycle they may have to drive 20 miles to do so. How many people are going to do that? For me it's a 12 mile drive one way. At the landfill recycling is really not properly done, all grades of plastics are mixed in one large container. The glass containers are contaminated with stuff such as mirrors, window panes, car windshields and such. These items are not recycleable people just discard them there. I recycle EVERYTHING possible but everytime I go I wonder how much of my stuff is really getting recycled.
